Commissioned Choral work for Loreto Kirribilli's 110 year anniversary

At the end of 2017 I was commissioned by my old high school, Loreto Kirribilli, to compose a piece to celebrate their 110 year anniversary.

It was doing my time at Loreto in my later high school years that I decided that I wanted to give composing a go and was fortunate to have teachers who really supported and encouraged me through my high school musical endeavours!

I thought it would be a nice idea to bring together some of the students to help come up with some fitting lyrics that really resonated with students past and present and celebrated the Loreto Spirit. With the help of the music teachers we managed to come up with some great lyrics, which I then scored for SSA choir and piano and titled the piece ‘To the Future’

It felt great to give back to the Loreto Kirribilli community and give them something special that they can pass on to future generations.
